Writings - Guess who got a ticket

The letter below pretty much sums it up. 08MAR1999 Superior and Municipal Courts Attention: Presiding Judge 14455 Civic Drive Victorville, CA 92392 Dion J. DeWald PO Box 2671 Clearlake, CA 95422 Your Honor, I have lived in California for most of my adult life and have been a driver of the California roads for just over ten years. As a young person I have gotten my share of traffic tickets and have paid them all in a quick and timely fashion. I feel that I am an honest person and I am not happy with the situation I am currently in. On May 5, 1998 I was pulled over for running a stop sign and not having proof of insurance, ticket number HN39756. The following week I moved to northern California because I was offered a job in a newly remolded movie theater. Life had been hectic during the first months here and I lost the citation and it was forgotten. My second paycheck was used to obtain insurance for my car. In July I renewed my license and gave the DMV a n...

Writtings - A letter to a friend

I love that I took time to save the letters I have written It is a nice way to remind me of what happened as the memory has faded. 12FEB2000 Dear Candy, As you will see there are two letters here for you. This one and the one on the blue cloud paper. I hope you are well and enjoy both letters. Well I wanted to follow-up before I sent this out and finish my story from the other night... Well Chris (that is her name if you forgot) told me on Saturday that she fasted and got the answer that she and I should not date at all, but that we should remain friends no matter what. We did not see each other for the following days but kept in touch and that was all fine well and good. On Wednesday she needed to wash some clothes and came over as we were waiting for the clothes to finish we hung out and played around in a good way. Then out of nowhere, we end up kissing again. And this time it was not so much the make out as before. But none the less we were in the same place....

Writings - The Start of Something

There will be a few items that show up that are just the beginnings of something that I wanted to make into something complete. This is the case with the next entry. 09SEP1999 Clearlake, One Year Later             So I moved to Clearlake. I left Barstow my home for 8 years and came to Northern California. I was looking to move into a nice place called Clearlake. Little did I know that Clearlake sucked more then the dust filled winds that over run the desert, I had a promising new future with a new Company called Cinema West. A two-screen theater in the wooded lands of N Cal. Little did I know that the population here is mostly trash. Welfare is a way of life and the people on the systems tab enjoyed being there. Now don’t get me wrong there are some really good people here. People who know that they are the ones that make this place worth being here and keep doing what they do. They made it worth staying for a while longer....

Writings - Just a lonely guy

I was living in Middletown, Ct when the next post was written. While I do not recall the person I was chatting with I for some reason decided to keep my words. I was not attached at this time. 08Nov1999 MrGeef:  1 Remember her name. The first thing she will tell you is her name. You should write it down just in case you forget MrGeef: 2 Love her unconditional. Expect nothing and hope for everything and love her with out expectations MrGeef: 3. Try to hold her every day. Girlfriends like to be held. Remember only touch where you have been invited, there will be times when anything goes, and others when she just wants to be held or simply hold hands hey_babe_:  you wrote this?  great insight.. MrGeef: thanks hey_babe_:  u r welcome MrGeef: 4. Some girlfriends like to kiss. If you are lucky you will get one of these. Writings - Hard Drive Clean up

Today is 11APR2020. It is snowing in Helena Montana and I have been working on cleaning up my computer and getting things archived. As I work on this I will be taking things and placing them here to share with the world and  to remind myself that I once took time to write, take pictures and share. I will provide dates whenever I can. Today I share a work that was written for a English 1 class I took while I lived in Wisconsin. 07MAY2010 Would you like butter with that? Thoughts on education outside the classroom Dion DeWald Have you ever eaten air-popped popcorn? It has no flavor. Sure it will serve its function as a source of nutrition and will fill your tummy a bit. To me it is just something I do not want in my mouth. Now, pop it with oil and add a bit of salt and it improves greatly, but it is still dry and less then a delight. But if you add butter you have a wonderful snack. And so it is with our formal education, kind of bland. The formal education is th...
