The letter below pretty much sums it up.

Your Honor,
I have lived in California for most of my adult life and have been a driver of the California roads for just over ten years. As a young person I have gotten my share of traffic tickets and have paid them all in a quick and timely fashion. I feel that I am an honest person and I am not happy with the situation I am currently in.
On May 5, 1998 I was pulled over for running a stop sign and not having proof of insurance, ticket number HN39756. The following week I moved to northern California because I was offered a job in a newly remolded movie theater. Life had been hectic during the first months here and I lost the citation and it was forgotten. My second paycheck was used to obtain insurance for my car. In July I renewed my license and gave the DMV a new mailing address and continued with life as usual.
With life taking a turn for the better I was in need of a new car and bought my first near new car. That night I was pulled over because the tags on the new vehicle were out of date and I was informed that there was an outstanding citation in San Bernardino County. As soon as I was able I called to find out what was up and I re-found the ticket. And this is where the letter you hold comes from.
I have been informed that I now owe a collection agency $1704.00 for my running a stop sign. When I called the court they told me that I have no options other then paying the collection people. Whom, I would like it known are not helpful and very rude. After making a few more calls I was told that my best option was to write a letter to you and request that my case be brought back to the court and be heard there. I hope that this option would still be available. I make no assumptions as to my guilt as far as the ticket is concerned and want to do what is right. But would ask for leniency in regards to my failure to appear. I am truly sorry.

The above is the car I got the ticket in and the house that I was living in when I wrote the letter. Way to big for me alone.

Journal Entry - 02 FEB 2021 - A trip to Mushroom Land

 Dear Chris, Last Friday I was feeling very low, I dont have any reason for this but I decided to call in sick to work because I could not deal with helping other people with their insurance problems. About 1030am I got the email that I was covid free but still feeling fatigued.  I tried to take a nap but this did not work.  At 1pm I took what remained of the magic mushrooms (2.4 grams) and added lemon juice to it and laid back down for it do its break down the structure of the mushrooms. (look up lemon tek) I had taken the mushrooms before and felt that they just got me high and I was expecting pretty much the same. No hallucinations, just high. I added a little hot water to the lemon mushroom stuff and drank it like a tea. I really don"t like the flavor of the Golden Teacher mushrooms and chased my tea with a cookie and a little milk.
